Do you ever plan to take trips away or abroad with a group of friends?
In our circle we plan to go to places like, Ibiza, Miami and Jamaica, so when we were contacted and asked to mentally spend a thousand pounds on a holiday you can imagine we were extremely excited!
Being unrealistic we came up with lots of outrages ideas, and in Cayley's words, "Go to London for two weeks, go to fashion events and go to America for a week for more fashion events"
We realise a thousand pounds couldn't get us far, but it helped us to realise that there is lots of fun right on our doorsteps that we've never experienced before.
You might expect that when you live in the UK you'd explore the surrounding countries (we live in Scotland) but in fact neither of us have been in Wales, in Ireland since we were babies and in England since the summer. Thinking of it now, we should have really grasped all the opportunities these countries have to offer, we love sightseeing and know of places to visit elsewhere, but just haven't ever visited them.
If we were to have a thousand pounds to spend we'd go to London for the weekend of Fashion Week. Obviously we'd visit the usual tourist attractions such as the London eye, see a production at the theatre and especially take long walks down union street!
Together we picked Fashion week for a reason though. We are fashion bloggers, and there's absolutely nothing in the world we like more than fashion! If we got to spend a thousand pounds on an adventure our main priorities would be tickets to an event at fashion week! We decided we'd compromise from a five star luxury hotel to a poxy b&b, we'd find discounts online-anything to let us see the worlds top designers sending stunning models down the runway! What's more is that when buying tickets for fashion week, we'd save ourselves money on Elle magazine, which is only a pound an issue when you purchase tickets!
I guess London is the place where all fashion bloggers want to go and we're two of them. The city of London has tons of exciting places to go, it's a city where you can explore and not worry about getting lost because all the main attractions are down one street.
We might not be able to afford so much but we would find vouchers for the hotel and restaurants, we'd even eat from the supermarket even though its a weekend away!
We are so happy to have been giving this opportunity, thanks for reading our blog!
Emma and Cayley, x
