Bowler Hats

Bowler Hat

Will they be another hat failure?

The bowler hat is also known as a coke hat.
Men use to wear them if they were a solider or a politician in 1845 and probably onwards. They came back in Victorian era for the working class. But this isn't a history class (though the subject 'fashion' would be a great history class!) instead we are going to talk about the hats making a comeback to the 21st century!
I would show you a picture that I found with models from the catwalk and others wearing them but it isn't loading so ill post the pic on another blog post.
In 2008 they were making coming back but I must say I didn't see any in the shops until now. Different colours and shapes and sizes just like the satchels that made an appearance last year oh don't forget the doc martins!
Right now I see London streets filled with bloggers and designers all wearing the same hat with maybe a vintage style it's the only way to go. Wearing any type of hat is difficult just by choosing what to wear  with it, I know it's just a hat that sits on your head and maybe keeps your head warm but this is not just a beanie or a snapback; come on it's a vintage hat! But I am not going to tell you what and not to wear with it. Which I sometimes do on other posts now it's entirely up to you :).
It seems that Topshop is a big fan of the bowler hats and that they have a good quality to choose from and they aren’t that pricy which is great! But you can go get one off eBay.
Will you be buying the bowler hat? I know I will.

P.S. I know todays post is a bit all over the place and that it’s short.
