Inspire- Demi Lovato

Demi is now 20, and you might remember her from children's tv, like Disney channel. You will remember her singing anlot now, but I bet you never knew she also wrote her own songs.

Recently Demi was judge on American X factor, this was the first mention I'd heard of her for a long time, well apart from hearing about tough times she's had.

Demi Lovato wrote a song called "For the Love of a Daughter" about her estranged father. UK magazine Fabulous claimed the song came about after Demi's dad had tried to 'cash in on her fame' so basically even though he'd left when she was little, he still expected money off her. Demi however is smart, and said she doesn't want anything to do with him.

Joe Jonas confirmed to a US magazine that he and Demi had broken up after two months of dating back in 2010. Even though lots of people go through break ups they are hard and can be stressful.

So at the beginning I mentioned her acting, well Demi dropped out of the Camp Rock 2 Tour to enter rehab . This was claimed by management to have been because she was suffering emotional times but this was a soft way of the fact that she punched a backing dancer for the Jonas brothers! You'll be wondering why my inspire is someone who punched another but clearly there was stuff going on in her life for her to have such harsh actions.

By February 2011, Demi had completed her treatment in rehab and returned home to Los Angeles, where she would "continue to see doctors" to "help her work on the issues she confronted in treatment."
The next day a Disney spokesperson said they support "Demi's decision to put her health first and [they] send her [their] best wishes".

During her first interview, after the accident Lovato confirmed reports that her treatment was for bulimia and self-injury. Her condition came to a head during the tour because Lovato "was performing concerts on an empty stomach...I was losing my voice from purging. I was self-medicating. I was not taking medication for depression, and I literally was so emotionally whacked out that I took it out on someone that meant a lot to me." Later elaborating on this "self-medicating", Lovato said, "I'm not gonna lie. I was self-medicating. I was doing things like drinking and using [drugs], like a lot of teens do to numb their pain."

Now, thankfully she has gotten over everything and is a spokesperson for campaigns involving bullying and depression. This is why she is my inspire, because she got herself through a hard time and got help for herself. Then once recovered she started helping others who were in a similar situation. It takes a lot a bravery and courage to talk about things like this!

Sorry for not posting recently, we've been carried away with a big blog we are working on together..keep your eyes peeled, you will love it!
