Sorry for not posting yesterday, but we have a lot of school tests on right now and with christmas coming up we've been awful busy...
But anyway, I'd like to talk today about lace!
Lace has been about for centuries and was originally handcrafted but is now usually made in factories. It is a cute addition to vests, but I love it most on wedding dresses! I designed a wedding dress, it is long sleeved and white, the material at the back dips right down to the top of the butt and the whole back is filled with a detailed lace bird (inspired by Hollister). At the front the dress silk is wrapped and plain, it comes into a V neck. The sleeves aren't lace other than the middle finger hook.
Okay so I have a few Lacey vest tops that I wear with jeans at the weekend, one is navy and white stripes (Matalan £5) and I have one Orange one (nicer than it sounds) from Hollister.
Send us in your lace drawings for the chance to win big!
Emma, x
