If you follow our Twitter, you may know that Cayley and I are very, very, very, very (too much..?) excited about going to London in a few months.
During our stay we will definitely write lots of blogs about our time there and what we buy.
I thought I'd write this blog today about what to pack if your going on a trip to a city like London, where there's lots of sightseeing and shopping involved!
Lets start like this..
There are five of us going, so we are each taking our share of snacks (for midnight feasts of course) and face masks, nail varnish etc (for a pampering session :P) if you doubt your suitcase will have enough room then try to spread the load with someone else who is going. If you've bought something for you all to share then someone else could be nice and fit it in their bag for you.
Hair products.

Clothes.
One of my close friends is a very organised person, so when packing for a holiday she writes a list of everything she'd like to take then works out outfits for what would be most suitable for each day. This is a great, handy tip, as you don't end up taking things you won't need - and you save space!
Shoes.
Come on girls, we all love shoes, but really you only need to take a few pairs with you. Are you really going to change your shoes halfway through the day? No.
Again, think of all the activities you will be doing. Shopping in stilettos? Fancy restraint in hiking boots? Maybe take pairs of flats, that go with everything. A pale colour is always fabulous. If you know you'll be going somewhere mucky, allow yourself to put in your Hunters, or your old hi-tops. You DO NOT need twenty seven pairs of shoes, don't be ridiculous.
Extra bits and bobs!
I know I always like to have something to read, but don't usually read it. So instead of packing that 400 page book, why not buy a magazine or two to keep you going?
Depending on the weather forecast, pack sunglasses and hats, or winter woollies. These, I usually forget.
Okay so I hope this all helped, and if like Cayley and I, you are taking a trip in the near future, I hope you feel hyped now!
Emma, x
