Growing up as a child in the naughties proved to be not bad. Cartoons back then were amazing, and singers were N.O.R.M.A.L. They sang about normal things (do you hear me Tswift?). Often we just want to be taken back to being a toddler again, I mean, they have it easy, their lives are so simple and they don't have anything to worry about past missing the tweenies (end of the world scenario). I know I am a child still really, but what this blog post is really about, is memories from not that long ago, when I knew I was a child, and didn't act, think or dress like an adult.
I want to create an experience, that makes you thrive to turn on Cbeebies, okay? So I'm going to list some of my favourite programmes from when I was little, and some of my favourite songs too.
Big cook little cool were the best chefs ever! We were watching an episode in class..yeah, we got judged....
Tweenies!!!! Milo is my best friend (did you ever think Bella and Milo should go out?)
Did anyone else Listen to the song tweenies made? It was the best song ever! I always wanted to go and play in their garden.
The thimbles...a load of rubbish in my opinion, but Cayley and my other friends loved them! I don't understand how your fingers can tingle, and how anyone can understand their version of hide and seek, but I guess it kept some kids happy.
Dora the explorer. My mum wouldn't let me go on half the adventures that Spanish rascal went on, even now! I don't know if the producers were trying to get little kids to run away from home or not, but it was a fantastic programme! I can't remember half the things I learnt on it, because I speak French as a second language, not Spanish. Do you remember boots, the little monkey? He was the most adorable thing ever!
Peppa pig, oink! I didn't watch this until later on, compared to the other programmes. I remember a really good episode, where mummy pig was out, and left George and daddy pig to hang a picture on the wall. The full wall ended up falling down and they had to glue it back together before mummy pig came home. Ahh, unrealistic memories! :D

I don't know how people manage this stuff. Picking my favourite songs from those CDs was the hardest thing I've ever done! And if it wasn't for the fact I convinced myself to jumble it all up a bit I would have had McFly all at the bottom! Oh, and I've done this upside down, so the number 1 is my least favourite and number 40 is my favourite!
Enjoy! Emma xo
